It is WRONG to think of salvation as achieved by three independent departments (Father, Son, Spirit). The Triune GOD is in all phases of our salvation. For example, Christ’s ministry on earth was done in obedience to the Father and inaugurated by the anointment of the Spirit.

However, it is RIGHT to assign prominence of each GOD-head in difference phases of our salvation. We can distinguish an objective and subjective phase in our salvation. Thus, Father’s election and Son’s work on the Cross were done objectively FOR US (before we were born). However, none of Christ’s work would mean anything unless it is applied subjectively IN US (we are convicted, we respond to the gospel, we feel the love of GOD). The Holy Spirit plays a prominent role in this subjective aspect of salvation.
