Faith and justification.

Rom. 10:9, 10

9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus {as} Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

     Faith is the instrument for the appropriation of the righteousness of God.

Good works and Justification.

Justification presupposes good works.

     James 2:17

      Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, {being} by itself.

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

 Good works are not the ground of justification.

Good works are the instrument of salvation.

Faith and good works are in same relation to justification.

because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law {comes} the knowledge of sin.

8 ¡§BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT.

Forgiveness does not negate need for daily forgiveness.
